Maria Theresa Vierthaler Waddell, 82, of Dalton, GA passed away on March 6, 2014 in Dalton, GA. She was born on May 31, 1931 in Regensburg, Germany to Josef and Maria (Sholz) Vierthaler. Maria is survived by her sons, George Lee Boone (Jeanne) and David James Boone; daughters, Margaret Ann Cacioppo (Joey), Dianna Lynn Ware (Robert K.), Tammy Marie Fredrickson (Paul), Sherrie Lea Crotty, and Sieglinde Gail England (Chris); grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Randi, Maggie, Buck, Daniel, Michael, Sarah, Benji, Cassie, Matt, Erik, Charlie, Jessie, Jacob, Caroline, David, Jake, Joey, Haydn, Hailey, Olivia, Ashlyn, Cooper, Sawyer, Tucker, Landon, and Aiden; and her sister, Sieglinde Zellner.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 2:00pm in the chapel at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City. The visitation will be held from 12:00 pm- 2:00pm on the same day. Interment to follow service at Westminster Memorial Gardens at 3:00 pm. The funeral will not be going in procession so everyone will meet at the graveside for the interment.
