Lynda was born September 9, 1954, in Acocks Green, Birmingham, England. She was a vibrant, hilarious woman with a contagious smile who loved cooking, the beach, interior design, and being Nanny to her young granddaughters.
Lynda is survived by her husband Keith Edward Histon; their twin children Matthew Lee Histon and Laura Claire Rook; two granddaughters; siblings Keith, Paul, Denise, Sheena, and Pat; and beloved springer spaniel Dudley. She is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Pat Taylor and brother Terry.
A visitation is planned on Lynda’s birthday, Friday the 9th of September between 5:00pm - 6:00pm, followed by a short service at 6:00pm, at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home & Crematory, 135 Senoia Road, Peachtree City, Georgia, 30269.
The family will receive visitors at the Histons’ home immediately following the service for a casual get-together to celebrate Lynda’s life and birthday. Food and beverage provided.
In lieu of flowers, Lynda’s wish is for donations in her honor to either ASPCA (aspca.org) or Piedmont Healthcare Foundation (piedmont.org/foundation).
