It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Loretta Michele Beatty, who left us on December 5 at the age of 76 after a tough battle with COPD and lung cancer. Loretta was born on November 25, 1948 in St. Louis to William and Rosemary Donley.
Loretta, better known as “Mickey” to her family and friends was a caring mother and proud grandma. She loved her grandchildren and children very much. Our family and many friends made in Peachtree City will all miss her smiles, laughs, and love.
Loretta is survived by her loving husband Mike, son Mike and wife Lori Beatty of Edwardsville, IL, son Sean and wife Beth of Peachtree City, GA, daughter Van Beatty of Fort Worth, TX, grandchildren Marie, Caroline, and Patrick of Edwardsville, grandchild Kaia of Peachtree City, siblings Ruth, Jeanne, Patty, Peggy, Mary, Kathy, Joyce, and Mike.
Though Loretta is no longer with us, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Private services will be held later at Georgia National Military Cemetery in Canton, GA.
