Jaquelyn Lorraine Scott

It is with great sadness that the family of Jaquelyn Faulkner Scott, of Fayetteville, GA announces her peaceful passing on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the age of 95. Jackie was born on September 30, 1927 to the late Jake and Mary Faulkner in Clermont, GA.

Jackie will be forever and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Donna Scott Salley and Joanne Scott Shepard; son-in-law, Eddie Salley; six grandchildren, Sharon Doering, Matt Salley, Lauren Hicks, Amy Beshers, Michael Beshers, and Joseph Beshers; ten great-grandchildren; extended family members; and her dear friends. Jackie was predeceased by her husband Joseph T. Scott, her parents, her ten siblings; and her great grandson, Matthew Salley.

Jackie was a long time resident of Fayetteville, GA and prior to that of East Point, GA. For the last several years, she lived in Alpharetta, GA near her daughters. She was an active member of Harps Crossing Baptist Church in Fayetteville, GA. She worked as an Executive Secretary for Ford Motor Company and retired after 28 years. She then received her LPN Nursing Degree, in 1984, at the age of 55.

She was always a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and a positive influence on everyone she met with a smile and keen sense of humor.

Visitation with a reception for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 11:00am-1:00pm, at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, 135 Senoia Rd, Peachtree City, GA 30269.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 2:00pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at 5755 Mallory Road, College Park, GA 30349.
