He was the devoted son of Elizabeth Sue Nichols; loving brother to Michael David Blood and his identical twin, Carey William Nichols.
Gary was the father of Preston Nichols, Trevor Nichols, and Evan Treston Nichols. He was a general contractor and when he was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children. He loved camping, fishing and joking around.
Gary is predeceased by his grandfathers, D.C. Weeks and David King.
Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Elizabeth Sue Nichols; brothers, Michael Blood and Carey Nichols; and his grandmother, Lavada Harris.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th at 1 pm at Rock Springs Baptist Church, 5990 Reynolds Road, Morrow GA, Br. Tommy Amen officiating.
