Doris R. Whitehead, age 90, of Newnan, GA, passed away Sept. 2, 2010. Surviving are daughter, Cheryl and Jerry Gates; son, Stan and Cathy Whitehead; daughter-in-law, Sharon Gunderson; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Monday, Sept. 6, 2010 at 10:00am at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5-8pm at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, 135 Senoia Rd.
