Dan was born in Catonsville, Maryland. He grew up sharing his father's love of baseball, spending many hours on the fields and as avid fans of the Orioles. Dan was drawn to emergency services at a young age and was an active volunteer throughout his school years. After graduating from McIntosh High School in Peachtree City, Georgia. Dan immediately began pursuing his passion with a career in EMS, earning many certifications and teaching credentials.
After many years responding to emergencies, Dan transferred his skills to a new area and began working in film production as a medic. He enjoyed using his knowledge to reassure people, offer treatment, and help them through a difficult time. His compassion and care was extended to many people around the world.
Dan leaves behind his daugher, Riley Delage; his parents, Dan and Wendy Delage; his mother, Patty Thompson; nieces, Hannah Kelly and Ava Kelly; his fiance', Hannah Phillips; his dog, Tobi; and many extended family and cherished friends.
There will be an intimate family religious service at the this time, with plans for a celebration of life event in the near future.
