Michelle Leigh Olsen

Michelle Leigh Olsen, age 29, of Payette, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 26, 2019. A Viewing will be held September 3rd from 4 to 6 pm at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, 112 N 9th Street, Payette. Condolences may be made to Michelle’s family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. Michelle was born March 29, 1990 in Ontario, OR to George and Carol (Zuercher) Olsen. She went to Ontario and Payette schools graduating Payette High School in 2008.

Michelle loved NASCAR, Dale Jr., her family and her pets. Her idea of a perfect day would be in that same order, watching a NASCAR race with her family and pets nearby. She recently met and was engaged to Daniel Carter of Ontario, OR. They were very happy together.

Michelle, we miss you terribly. We miss your shy smile and sassy humor. Your loving, kind heart and giving nature were the best examples to follow.

Michelle is survived by her sister and brother in law, Shelley and Frank Horton and their children, Aimee Bundy of Baker City , OR, Nicholas and Alyssa Horton of Boise, ID; her uncle and aunt, William and Shannon Zuercher and their children, Beth, Amanda and David Zuercher all of Boise, ID; her uncle, Kenneth Zuercher and his children, Katelyn and Kensington Zuercher all of Boise, ID; her uncle, John Olsen of Caldwell, ID and his children, Lars and James Olsen of Ontario, OR; her aunt, Anita Keeler of Nampa, ID and her children, Karisa Brady of Aberdeen, WA, Matt Kyle of Portland, OR and Joshua Kyle of Nampa, ID; her uncle, Don Olsen of New Plymouth, ID and his children, Emily, Lilly, and David Olsen of Ontario, OR.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father George M. Olsen, her mother Carol L. Olsen, her grandmother Viola Deloras Olsen, her grandfather Albert Olsen Jr., her grandfather, Elmer L. Zuercher, her grandmother Barbara L. Zuercher.
