Soon after a son, David and a couple of years later a daughter, Serena completed their family. During this time, Marvin was the owner/operator of “Hop’s Super Service” in Payette. Marvin had a gift for refurbishing farm machinery especially balers and restoring antique cars which he enjoyed showing off in local parades. Shortly after his retirement, Marvin began hauling livestock with David operating Ray’s Trucking Service. They drove hundreds of miles and shared thousands of stories hauling cattle. Marvin and Frances enjoyed winters in Arizona listening to music and spending time with old friends. The highlight of their year was fiddle week. What could be better than fiddle music, breakfast at the seniors, grandkids dancing, and a parade?
