Kathleen Ann “Kathy” Brandon, age 42, of Payette, passed away on May 31, 2018. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 5th at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel in Payette from 5-7 pm. A service in Kathy’s memory will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, June 6th at Ontario First Church of the Nazarene. Graveside services will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Payette. Kathy was born in Ontario, OR on Jan. 3, 1976 to Keith and Carol Brandon. She graduated from Payette High School in 1994. Kathy married in 1994 and later had two loving children. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend.
Kathy’s greatest joy in life was being a mother. She worked from home to raise her children while successfully running two businesses. Kathy also took great joy in helping others, and was a woman strong in her Christian faith. She was a long-time member of the Ontario Nazarene Church and also served as a member on the church board.
Kathy also found great enjoyment in being a hostess, entertaining a large group, cooking great food, and making sure everyone was comfortable and well fed. She was always sure to care for those around her in any way she could. She was a vivacious woman, and her beauty shone both inside and out. Kathy was intelligent, caring, and had genuineness about her that all could feel.
We will remember Kathy for her beaming smile, contagious laugh, kind heart, and loving character. She was loved by all that had the pleasure of knowing her. Her life and memory will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Kathy is survived by her two children, Kacee Ramirez and Jacob Ramirez; her father, Keith Brandon; her brothers, Terry Brandon and James Brandon (Blanca); her niece and four nephews; and an abundance of friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Carol Brandon, and her sister, Barbara Rhodes.
