Janet Kay Bibbey Gross

Janet Kay Gross, age 58, of Payette passed away in Boise Sunday June 26, 2016 after a long illness. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday July 2, 2016 at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel Payette. Pastor Christian Zimmermann will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosedale Memorial Gardens in Payette. Condolences may be made to Janet’s family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. Janet was born in July 23, 1957 in John Day, OR to Eldon and Margaret (Conner) Bibbey. Janet was accomplished professionally, having graduated from TVCC with an Associate Degree. Then she went to BSU graduating with a Bachelor Degree in Social Work. Janet has worked several different skilled jobs in nursing and assisted living facilities in and around the Treasure Valley. Janet married David Gross in April of 1986 and celebrated 30 years together this year.

Janet was the mother of three children Son, Matt Henson of Payette, ID; Daughter, Chelsea Henson of Payette, ID; Son, Grant Gross of Ontario, OR.

Janet was also the proud grandmother of two, Eric and Anaya children of Chelsea Henson. She loved and adored her children and grandchildren, spending all her extra time with them. They were her pride and joy.

She loved to go camping and fishing. Some Saturdays mornings, if the weather was nice she would say “let’s go for a drive in the mountains.” We would pack a picnic lunch, grab a fishing pole and go enjoy the day together.

Janet will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
