Donald Junior Manning

Donald J. Manning, 47, of Payette, passed away May 14, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 21st at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Condolences may be made to DJ’s family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com.

DJ was born on Sept. 23, 1968 to Donald Sr. and Christine (Romero) Manning in Oroville, CA. DJ graduated from Parma High School in 1986 where he was very outgoing and active in football. He moved to Payette right after graduation and started his employment at Hanigan’s Chevrolet and where he was worked with excellent performance till his passing. He also had a seat with the Eastside Irrigation Company and was a prominent personality in the community.

He never failed to live life to the fullest; there was always room for a little faster, a little higher, and it was always a beautiful day for a ride. DJ will be remembered by many loving and caring family members and friends, too many to count.

DJ is survived by his mother and father, Christine and Donald Lee Manning; a brother Fred K. Manning; a sister, Bernice L. Manning; nieces, Kenishya Solman and Christine Manning; and nephew, Billy Manning.
