Nancy Ann Montell, 87, of Hebron, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. She was born on February 26, 1936 in Shadyside, OH, a daughter to the late Ray and Mary (Beatty) Bragg. Nancy is survived by her loving children, Steve (Randi) Montell, Janet Straka, Phil (Glenna) Montell, Andy (Tammy) Montell, Lisa (Bill) Koontz and David (Becky) Montell; grandchildren, Ian, Chris, Brian, Eric, Matt, Cory, Sarah, Scott, Kyle, Samantha and Nick; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Bragg-Strait and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Russel Bragg and son-in-law, Dick Straka. Honoring the family’s wishes, cremation will take place. Memorial visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice, 777 W. State St., Columbus, OH 43222 in Nancy’s memory.
