So sorry to hear about Linda's passing-we(the Kain's) lived across from you on
Nathan Forrest Drive in Hendersonville. We still live here and both our girls are married. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers!

Linda was a good friend and I will cherish her friendship forever.  She was always so positive and had the best sense of humor.  Her love for her family and her Lord were always prominent in her life.  She will be missed but her love for all of you lives on in your memories.  Janice Williams

I'll never forget my worst day ever, it was a dreary Monday, I had to stand out in the pouring rain waiting for my parents to pick me up to take me to the hospital to get a complete hysterectomy because I had Uterine Cancer. Later my parents & my sister were with me in a room right before surgery, & here comes Linda with her bright beautiful smile & bubbly spirit & she visited with us for awhile & when she left the mood in the room had shifted, we were all uplifted by her presence.  She had also taken me a week before that to the hospital for a minor surgery & it really helped having her with me.  I love Linda soooo much & can't wait to see her again.  She was an amazing, wonderful lady!

The World lost a wonderful person when she left, but Heaven gained an angel. I was honored to be her cousin... she could seriously light a room with her smile and laughter... Dear Wayne, David and Megan.  You know my heart goes out to each one of you in the loss of your lifemate and mother.  She is so happy now.  I can just see her running around heaven checking every thing out.  She won't miss a thing.  If anything is out of place by any chance, she'll make it right.  She's happy and whole and out of pain. Megan, I just wanted to write you and tell you and David and your dad how sad I am for you.  Your mom was a wonderful person, the thing I remember most was her contagious smile and laugh.  We had so much fun as your Girl Scout leaders together, and I'm the one that introduced her to Longaberger baskets.  We even went to Columbus Ohio for the basket bee one year.  we had a laughing good time.  She will be missed , but, she is celebrating with Jesus tonight!   Please know we will be lifting your family in prayer !  All moms love their children,  but, she loved y'all so much...quite the mamma bear!  She was also so in love with your daddy! So sorry for your loss Wayne. Times like this are never easy. I haven't seen either of you for years but I do remember you both fondly from high school. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

We will miss you so much aunt Linda, you taught us to live each day to the fullest no matter what obstacles you face. We will remember you always having a big smile on your face and enjoying every moment you could.  You will be truly missed.

I remember going to visit Linda after they visited our church upon moving to Hendersonville. We hit it off as were both fun-loving. We had daughters the same age. We had many fun outings from church activities and Girl Scouts to picking blueberries. She taught me about collectibles and later tried to encourage me to get rid of so much stuff. We both collected Hallmark ornaments. Her decorations were awesome--nutcrackers, loaded tree, a village--all tastefully done. Everything she did was big but in good taste.  She was so talented with artwork, sewing, and home decorating. One time she surprised Wayne by painting and completely redoing their bedroom while he was gone. She was fiercely protective of Megan and David. She was such a fun wife and Nina to their grandchildren.  Her Mexican food was divine, and she made this wonderful Apple pie with some kind of cream filling.  She always tried new things and had big plans. Once we were at Opryland and were planning my Tacky Party. We laughed so loud that I know people thought we were crazy!!  I have so many happy memories of my friend Linda who made everything fun!!  I will miss you but know you love heaven. I'll see you soon. It has to be a fun place with you there. I know God has to have a sense of humor.  Love you, Linda!

I am blessed to have had such a charismatic and loving aunt. The world will continue to be painted bright with you as our guardian angel. I will miss you and think of the strength and faith you had through all of this. Thank you for embarrassing me with the YMCA at a restaurant, for having us down several summers in TN and for making our world a little brighter.
