I think of you often. So many times this fall and winter I have wondered what you would have to say about our Buckeyes and Browns. Just those thoughts bring a smile to my face.  Imaging how you would respond takes me back to our many conversations.  You would always make me laugh. I can’t believe it has been almost two years.   I miss you my friend

A funny and wonderful friend gone too soon. Jer was always willing to take a second to share photos of his kids, the progress of his tattoo or help with a tech issue. We worked in the same building and even though it was for different companies,  we were friends. I am shocked to my core that he is gone and will miss him terribly.  My sincerest condolences to his family he was so proud of.

We will never forget our time with you, Jerry.  You were our brother and we miss you dearly. 

I worked in the school system for 17 years. Jerry was my "go-to" guy.  Such a talented, brilliant man. It took me a while to break through the tough candy coating, but eventually found his inner soft side. Of course, Reese's gifts to the programming God helped a little. 

Jerry helped me out numerous times when no one else could figure out what was going wrong.  Always enjoyed chatting through problems with him. Gone way too soon. RIP Jerry. Condolences to friends and family up in Ohio

I only knew Jerry since 2018 when I moved to Newark and we became coworkers.  His sense of humor always had me laughing at the end of the day as we ended our shift and walked out together.  Even joking around, you could trust Jerry.  I will always remember him trying to get anyone in the lunchroom to try a roasted radish that he said would taste like a potato. (It did)   He had a great perspective on life.  He knew he was blessed to have Sara, Nathan, Noah and the newest addition Grace in his life.   His life was too short ... he was one of the good ones.  Many thoughts and prayers.  

I have known Jerry for many years, first as a colleague then as a co-worker and lastly as a friend.  From a work perspective, I remember Jerry always liking a puzzle or an issue that took some time to figure out.  He would research and work on a solution until he figured something out.  He worked many years at LACA and was a dedicated and loyal employee.  He will be missed by all the people there and the people in the schools that he helped solved their problems.  Besides sharing work the past few years, Jerry, and I became very good friends.  We talked a lot about sports, Buckeyes, and Browns things that we both loved. Jerry also reached out to my son and they became texting buddies.   Each big game Jerry, my brother, son, and I would have an almost, big play by big play text chain.  We would share virtual emotions through out the games from highs to lows with sometimes with some colorful language.   Jerry was a great friend, willing to help you out however he could.  I will miss talking to him and texting him.  I will think of him every Buckeye and Browns game!   My family will keep Sara, the boys, and Grace in our thoughts and prayers.  RIP Jerry, love ya Dean

I worked with Jerry on many statewide committees over the years and always appreciated Jerry's humor and perspective in everything we discussed.    He will be missed!  My thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time!

Jerry will greatly be missed. I worked with him and sat on committees with him for almost 20 years. Jerry was a great person to confide in when things were going good or bad. He had a great sense of humor and could always  make light of a difficult situation. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

Jerry will be missed.  LACA is our ITC.  I have known him for many, many years.  Loved his sense of humor and his skill set was amazing.  He always made me smile.  I feel fortunate for knowing him.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
