James R. Decker, 83 of Columbus, passed away at The Kobacker House on July 12, 2012. Born on January 6, 1929 to the late James S. and Pauline (Orthoefer) Decker in Columbus, Ohio. James served during to Korean Conflict. Survived by sons James and Mark (Susan) Decker, 4 grandchildren Shane, Shaun, Scott and Mallory, 3 great grandchildren and 2 sisters Martha Anderson and Alice Haas. Preceded in death by wife Wilma Decker, son Scott Decker, grandson Sean and 2 brothers. Friends may call at Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, Pataskala on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 6 to 8pm.
