Henry Eugene McCormick

Henry Eugene McCormick, 83, of Pataskala, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at his residence. He was born on March 24, 1937 in Kanawha County, WV, a son to the late Granville and Gracie (Hatfield) McCormick. Henry was a veteran in the Air Force and served in the National Guard and Army Reserves for 38 years. He was a Captain with the Columbus Police Department and retired after 25 years of service in 1990. Henry is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Karon McCormick; children, Monty (Maggie) McCormick and Monica (Brian) West; grandchildren, Andy Joshua McCormick, Jessica Lee McCormick, Jeffrey Scott Nugent, Cameron Robert West and Corey Alexander West and great-grandchild, Isla Mae McCormick. Honoring Henry’s wishes, cremation will take place. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.
