David Lee Kolk

David L. Kolk, 81, of Etna, Ohio, loving husband of nearly 61 years, father, brother, uncle and friend, passed November 28, 2023, after a brief, private battle with pancreatic cancer. Dave is preceded in death by his oldest daughter Patricia (John) Coffey, parents Karl and Ivadelle Kolk and brother Karl (Julie) Kolk III. He is survived by the love of his life, Susan (Bibler) Kolk; daughters Teresa “Tracy” (Chris) Bowling, Lisa (Larry) Sheets; grandchildren Jess, Kathy, Ian, Amanda and Beck; 6 great grandchildren; his siblings Madeline (Edd) Massie, Robert (Barbara) Kolk and Jean Gioffre; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Dave retired from the Facilities Engineering Department at Riverside. He served as a Sergeant in the Columbus Division of Police Reserves and was previously active in the Sertoma Club. He will be fondly remembered for his constant helping hand, his love of family, cards, books and golfing.

A celebration of life will be held in the future when he is reunited with his wife, Susan. Tracy and Lisa wish to extend their gratitude to Capital City Hospice for their assistance in his final days and the Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home.
