David Craft Sr.

1st Sergeant, David Timothy Craft went home to be with the Lord on May 11, 2023 in Columbus, OH. He was born May 28, 1948 in Portsmouth OH to James and Anna Craft. David graduated in 1966 from Portsmouth East High School. He served 22 years in the US Army Military Police from 1968-1990, having served in Vietnam and Germany. Following his retirement from the Army, David worked at Rickenbacker Air Base and retired from the United States Postal Service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; sisters, Patricia Arnold (Don), Evangeline Ward (Virgil), Barbara Hines (Don); brothers, Clayton Craft, Clay Craft, Robert Craft; great grandson, Jude Craft; nephews, Bobby Lee Craft, Matthew Ross and Jeff Craft; nieces, Alisa Craft and Pam Hauck.

Survived by son, David Timothy Craft, Jr. (Susan); brother, Jerry Craft (Linda); sister, Betty Craft Ross (Robert); sisters in law, Evelyn Craft and Juliet Craft; grandchildren, Timothy Scott Craft (Amy), Kyle Craft, Megan Craft Huston, Melissa Robbins, Nevaeh Robbins, Kayleigh Schreiber and Malachi Nicholls; great grandchildren, Taylor Jane Craft and Ryder James Craft Numerous Nephews, Nieces and cousins.

A visitation for David will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 289 S. Main Street, Pataskala, Ohio 43062, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. David will be laid to rest in Pataskala Cemetery, 9545 Creek Rd, Pataskala, Ohio 43062. In lieu of flowers, donations in David's memory may be made to the Licking County Veterans Commission, 935 Buckeye Ave, Newark, OH 43055.
