Darlene Alberta Scharf

Darlene Alberta Scharf, 77 of Pataskala, passed away peacefully at Mt. Carmel East Hospital on December 4, 2012. Born on September 27, 1935 to the late Guy and Marie (Southworth) Smith in Omaha, NE. Darlene was of the Catholic faith. Survived by sons Floyd Clayton Scharf, Charles, Gary, Richard, Michael and Robert Frothingham, daughters Eileen Kinney, Kathleen Streets, Stephanie Bell and Delphia Scharf, grandchildren Christina Kinney, Lisa (Chris) Fox, Mark, Bradley and Bryan Streets, David Zachary Bell, Tiffany Richards, Amy Johnson and Brittany Parfitt and seven great grandchildren, sister-in-law Delores Scharf. Preceded in death by husband Floyd Timothy Scharf, sons Richard Charles Frothingham and John “Bill” Frothingham. Darlene was the kindest, gentlest and most compassionate woman who will be forever missed by all those who knew her. Friends may call at Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, Pataskala on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 10:30am with Monsignor Paul P. Enke officiating. Burial to follow at Pataskala Cemetery.
