On Sunday, October 10, 2021, Bret Adams passed away peacefully at home in Pataskala, Ohio, surrounded by family after a battle with cancer at age 62.
Bret was born on July 6, 1959 in Waverly, Ohio, before moving to Licking County at a young age, where he lived his entire life. Bret spent 30+ years landscaping, employing and instilling a work ethic for many local youth over the summer months. His fondest moments were spent on the golf course and coaching his sons and other kids on local sports teams. He had a passion for architecture, design, and horticulture and could be quizzed on the botanical names of any of Ohio’s plants and trees.
Bret is preceded in death by parents Norm and Janet. Surviving family includes wife of 42 years, Theresa; sons Nicholas (Crystal) and Benjamin; three granddaughters Ellison, Waylon, and Porter; and tens of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St, Pataskala, Ohio 43062 from 4pm to 8pm.
