Bobby Gene Staley, 93, of Pataskala, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Bluebird Retirement Community. He was born on February 26, 1930 in Alexandria, OH, a son to the late Douglas and Merle (Kennedy) Staley. Bobby was an Airman Apprentice in the U.S. Navy from January 1949 to January 1950.
He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Hope Staley; daughters, Lynnette (David) Stephenson and Tamara Schultz; grandchildren, Megan Stephenson, Thomas Stephenson, Hana Cook and Christopher Schultz and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bobby is also preceded in death by his siblings, Louise Zeimer and Jim Staley. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Summit Station United Methodist Church, 6626 Summit Rd. SW, Pataskala, OH, 43062 in Bobby’s memory.
