Robert Newhall Chesebrough III

Robert N. Chesebrough III, resident of Paso Robles, CA, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014 after a courageous battle with Cancer. Robert was born in Van Nuys, CA and raised in Castaic, CA. He graduated from Saugus High School where he played in the marching band and was an Eagle Scout for the Boy Scouts of America.

Robert was the oldest of three children born to Donna Sue Chesebrough and Robert N. Chesebrough Jr. of Templeton, CA. Robert was a beloved husband to Cristyl Chesebrough and a devoted step-dad to Anastasia, age 10, from Paso Robles and Jacob, age 18, currently serving in the U.S. Army. Robert will be forever remembered by his brother John M. Chesebrough, his wife Amy, and their two children Annie Rose and James Marcus Chesebrough and also by Robert’s youngest brother Lawrence (Cody) Chesebrough. Robert was a treasured grandson and nephew to Bettyrose and Nancy Cordova of Castaic, CA. Robert was also survived by his caring in-laws Cris and Diana Dodos of Santa Maria, CA, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him.

Robert loved listening to music, reading books and comics, hunting and shooting, being with his family, playing games, laughing, and having fun with friends. Robert loved all things Disney and was an active member of the Society for Creative Anachronism.

Robert Chesebrough III touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. The viewing will be held at the Kuehl-Nicolay Funeral Home, 1703 Spring Street, Paso Robles, CA on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 4:00pm-8:00pm.

The funeral service will be held at Kuehl-Nicolay Funeral Home on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 10:00am with a small morning reception for close friends and family beginning at 9:00am.
