My sister, Nikki, 
I miss you little one.   
Here is a sweet Nikki memory when she was about 6 or 7. 
We had some old clothes that no longer fit and they were not in good enough shape to send to the goodwill so my mom and I asked Nikki to cut off the buttons to save and we would use the clothes for rags or throw them away.  (you know, saving buttons was a job and Nikki needed a job!)  Anyway, when we came to check on Nikki we saw that  she cut out the buttons yep - but she cut out the button holes too!  When we asked her about it, she just said,  "What good is a button without a button hole?"
I remember this happening like yesterday. 
She was so sweet and innocent and full of wonder.  Life is sad and Nikki suffered with illness as an adult.  My thoughts of her now are only full of unconditional love.  I know she is peaceful and in the company of those she loved so dearly.  Although, she left many that loved her here on earth, we will see her again and her spirit will be radiant and restored to perfection.  
I love you Nikki Girl and miss you so.

Nikki (lodge sister) had a magnificent, vibrant soul...one of much love and care. Her spirit, lessons, and life story will continue to live on through all that have had the pleasure of her acquaintance. I am truly a better person for having the friendship of this incredible woman. Walk in Beauty, my Sister!!! XO
