Denise Ann Casey passed away on November 11, 2017 at her home in Templeton California. She was born in Detroit, Michigan. She devoted most of her 65 years of life teaching children to read, loving her grandchildren and caring for her family. She touched the lives of many in our community. She graduated from Redlands University and earned her Master’s Degree and Reading Specialist Credential at Cal Poly SLO. Denise loved raising sheep as part of her family farm, gardening and playing music. She is survived by her husband Patrick Casey of Templeton, son Ryan Casey, daughter-in-law KC Casey of Ventura CA, daughter Theresa Clark, son-in-law Evan Clark of Templeton CA, grandchildren Cooper, Liam, LaRhetta and Sabrina, her mother Gilberte Brewer Trost of Apple Valley CA, brothers Mike and Steve Ardito and many aunts and cousins.
