Audrey Carol Pearson

Audrey Pearson, 78, of Paso Robles, CA, formerly of Marseilles, IL, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017, at her home following a courageous battle with dementia. A Memorial Service will be held at the Templeton Hills Seventh Day Church located at 930 Templeton Hills Rd., Templeton, CA at 1 pm on Sunday, Nov. 5th, with Pastor Zac Page officiating. Audrey was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a very creative person and a lifelong learner with many different interests including sewing, quilting, camping, fishing, gardening, music, bird watching, crossword puzzles, and stained glass. She adored her husband of 60 years, Julius, loved her American Eskimo dog, Lily, and enjoyed flying paper airplanes with her grandchildren. Audrey was born in Rockford, IL on Mar. 14, 1939 to Victor and Ruth Sjolin. She is survived by her husband, Julius; her children: Shaleen Glad of Perkin, IL, Tim (Sue) of Los Osos, CA, Mike (Clarise) of San Luis Obispo, CA, Chris (Kelly) of Paso Robles, CA; eight grandchildren: Brandy, Gregory, Mischelle, Tasha, Eli, Jillian, Paul, and Ellie; 10 great grandchildren; her sister, Lois Smith of Loves park, IL; and her brother, Bob (Sally) Sjolin of Santa Rosa, CA. Audrey is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Ruth (Gustafson) Sjolin; her brother, Gene; her sister, Dorothy Saunders; and her eldest son, Greg. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Audrey's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Wilshire Hospice and Senior Helpers.
