William Allan McFadden, 89, passed away on 4/21/19. He was born September 3, 1929 in Milton Ontario, Canada to parents Malcolm and Jennie McFadden. He is preceded in death by his father, Malcolm McFadden, mother Jennie McFadden, brother Edgar McFadden, and deceased wife, Betty Sue Connell McFadden.
He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. He received his BS degree from the University of Houston. He was a member of Central Church of Christ for 50 years until they joined Deer Park Church of Christ, which he was a member of at the time of his passing. He was also a deacon in both churches. He was a charter member of the Pasadena South Rotary Club. He started and operated Comfort Inc., heating and air conditioning firm for 30 years, and McFadden Properties since 1990.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Mary Edna Ivy McFadden, his son Bill McFadden of Pasadena, his daughter Ruth Ann Bynum and husband Ralph “Corky” Bynum, Jr. of Deer Park. Step-children Gary Brown, Wanda Barrett and husband Ricky Barrett of Pasadena, and Richard Brown and wife Tracy of Northlake, Il. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren Brian Johnson and wife Tifany, Brent Johnson and wife Amy, Brandon Johnson and wife Amy, Tammy McCurdy and husband Johnny, Jimmy Barrett and wife Katelynn, Jeremy Barrett, Stephanie Brown, Connor Brown, and Griffin Brown. Additionally, he is survived by 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, along with numerous other family and friends.
Visitation will be at Grandview Funeral Chapel 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505 at 9:00 am with the service beginning at 10:00 am on Friday, 4/26/19 with Mike Reed officiating.
