Wanda Jean Grissom, 79, passed away on June 12, 2013 in Pasadena, Texas. She was born on August 26, 1933 in Yazoo City, Mississippi to Bura and Lessie Burch. She is preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Everett Sumrall and sisters, Peggy and Merilee. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Teddy Grissom; son William Sumrall and wife Billie J.; daughter, Linda Jean and husband Truman Preston; step-son, Teddy Grissom, Jr.; step-daughter, Amanda Rene’ Dmoit; sister, Emily; grandchildren, Leslie, Michele, Julie, Barbara, Ryan, Travis, Trevor, Troy and Trevor and 12 great-grandchildren. Wanda loved to do anything including bowling, gambling, traveling, fishing and most of all, spending time with family. She will be dearly missed. Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 16, 2013 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 10 am in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
