He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Betty R. Barnes; parents; in-laws, Harvey Hibbits and Velma Hutzel; brother, Marvin and his wife Carol Barnes; sister-in-law, Shirley Brotherton; brother-in-law, Gordon Hibbits; nephews, John Scott, Kevin Barnes and William Bollinger.
He is survived by his children, Deborah Ann Barnes, Susan Kay Barnes and Jeffrey Scott Barnes; granddaughter, Hannah Liann Barnes; sister, Helen and husband Earl Scott; brothers, Emmett and wife LaNell Barnes and Robert and wife Venieta Barnes; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth and husband Charles Alexander, Margaret Grave, Glenda Daves, Karen and husband Eddie Wideman and Dianna Parmer; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was loved by all and he will be dearly missed. The family would like to thank the Harbor Hospice House for all of the love and support given during this very difficult time.
Family will receive friends on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Grand View Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 12:30 P.M. in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home with Interment to follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
