Virginia Sanchez passed away peacefully at the age of 79, in the morning of April 12, 2021 to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after gradual decline in health. She was born in Bryan, Texas to her mother Elida Salinas and father Joe Salinas.
Virginia is predeceased by her parents, her older brother Joe Salinas, her older sister Cecilia Torres and her husband Eliberto Sanchez. She is survived by her son Edward Sanchez, as well as her only grandchild Dylan Sanchez.
Virginia graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Bryan, Texas. She was a hair stylist for several years. She was married to Eliberto Sanchez for 52 years. They moved to Long Beach California while Eliberto served his country in the U.S. Navy. After her husband's service in the Navy, they made their residence in Pasadena, Texas. She became a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista, where she enjoyed helping with Vacation Bible School. She enjoyed making leather and bead bracelets, sewing, gardening and helping others in any way she could. The joy of her life was caring for and spending time with her grandson.

Virginia will be laid to rest at Grand View Funeral Home and Memorial Park Cemetery in Pasadena, Texas.
