Veda Marie Robertson

Veda grew up in Beaumont, Texas and was of Italian descent. Veda was the youngest and the only daughter and sister to her three brothers, Sam, Bartell and Vic. They called her "Baby," and for many, Veda was known as "Marie".

Veda is the mother of three sons, Bobby, Ralph and Ray (deceased).

Veda has 10 grandchildren: Shaun (married to Michael Minogue), Brian Robertson (married to Julie), Dana (married to Lucas Osborn), Sarah (married to Josh Weinman), Karah Robertson, and by marriage: Adam Wetzel (married to Sarita), Ben Wetzel, Catherine (married to Hugh Eberhart), Erik Eskine and Matthew Eskine.

Veda is also blessed with 14+ great grandchildren: Aiden and Ava Minogue, Avery and Reese Robertson plus foster brother, Carlo, Lucy and Harper Osborn, and by marriage: Hazel, Christian and Blaise Wetzel, and Collin, Claire, Cole, Caite, and Cooper Eberhart.

Veda had a career in retail sales in Pasadena, Texas at JC Penneys. She also served in the banking industry as a clerk.

Veda loved country western line dancing, eating out at restaurants, and people watching. Veda also enjoyed meeting her friends weekly for coffee at Krogers. Veda had a youthful spirit and enjoyed staying up to date with current trends.

She blessed her family and countless friends while on this earth. From country dance halls to Krogers, she will be missed.

Services will be Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in the Chapel at Grand View Funeral Home at 11:00am.
