Trent Alan Jones, 47, reached his forever home on September 7, 2023 after a long battle with heart failure due to Cardiomyopathy. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God, allowed him to have peace in his journey.
Trent was born to Janice Jones Barnes and the late Frank Alan Jones, in Pasadena TX on April 20, 1976. He went to school in Deer Park, TX where he graduated in 1994. After high school, he worked as assistant manager at Carquest and obtained a Process Technology Certificate from San Jacinto College. He was loved and respected at his job of 23 years at BASF.
Trent was blessed with a small but loving family. He married Amy Farrugia on November 29, 1997 in Missouri City, TX. Trent raised his 3 beautiful children with patience, a sense of humor, and an undying devotion to God. He made many beautiful memories with them, travelling the United States and camping. He dedicated each child to God and fulfilled his promise to teach them to be God’s light in everything they do.
Trent was always kind and patient with his words and actions. He gave freely and loved wholly. Our human hearts will continue to long for his presence, but we will celebrate that he is no longer suffering, and is at peace with his creator.
Trent is survived by his mother Janice Barnes and husband Johnny; his brother, Greg Jones and wife Stephanie; his wife Amy Jones; his children, Emma, Evan, and Elliott; and seven nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Alan Jones.
A visitation for Trent will be held Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A a celebration of life will occur Friday, September 15, 2023 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church, 7500 Fairmont Pkwy, Pasadena, TX. A commital service will occur Friday, September 15, 2023 at 11:30 AM.
