Thomas D. Thompson

He graduated from Pasadena High School. Thomas also served in the U.S. Air Force and attended Lee College in Baytown, TX and San Jacinto College in Pasadena, TX.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Pearl M. Thompson; Father and step-mother, Sylvan L and Lorraine Thompson; brother, Bob L. Thompson; son-in-law, Jason Connors and beloved daughter, Donna Jenkins.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bobbie Thompson; son, Tommy Thompson and wife Kim of Houston, TX; daughter, Andrea Bennett of La Porte, TX; grandsons, Jacob Connors, DaCota Bennett and Hunter Thompson; granddaughter, Kristi Fowlkes; great-grandson, Stephan Fowlkes; brother, Ronald Thompson of Leesville, LA; sister, Kathy Gordon and husband Tommy of Highlands, TX; uncle, Yens Thompson and wife Martha of Belton, TX; brother-in-law, Al Hastings and wife Rebecca of Pasadena, TX; brother-in-law, Louis Hastings and wife Nancy of Houston, TX and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Chapel services will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. with interment following at Grand View Memorial Park.

The family would also like to thank Connie, Vernan, Carol, Patrick, Mary and Carolyn of Resolutions Hospice for their excellent care during his illness.
