Susan Janet McDonald Ray passed away January 30, 2016, at the age of 66 years. She was born October 8, 1949, in Houston, Texas, to Leola Yvonne Perry McDonald and George Everett McDonald. Susan grew up in Pasadena, Texas, and graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in 1967. She eventually settled in Freeport, Texas, with her husband Henry Ray. She loved music and dancing, her variety of animals, spending time with family and friends, and laughing as much as possible.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Ray; daughter, Shannon Harrison; stepsons, Rocky and Leland Ray; stepdaughter and husband, Melissa and Brian Teschendorf; grandchildren, C.B. and Casten Teschendorf; sister, Marsha McDonald; sister and brother-in-law, Joy and Johnny McDaniel; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Christina McDonald; as well as nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, George McDonald, and her mother, Leola Ardoin.
