Stephen attended Dawson High School in Pearland, Texas and continued his education at Alvin Community College in Alvin, Texas and San Jacinto College in Pasadena, Texas.
He became interested in cooking at a young age. He loved cooking for people and making them smile, and knowing he’s made them happy by the meal he’s prepared. He was so creative and patient in the kitchen. He eventually began working in a restaurant and ended up cooking. Shortly after, he was promoted to Purchaser & Receiver while still helping in the kitchen. His goal was to eventually run his own Food Truck, which he was diligently working toward.
Stephen enjoyed reading… anytime, any day. One of his high school teachers once asked me (Sherry) to let him know, it’s completely acceptable to read in class, just not while she’s teaching. He always had a book with him. He loved all books – his favorite authors were J.K. Rowling, and James Patterson. He loved collecting knives and swords, gaming, watching movies, and hanging out with family. He truly enjoyed anything outdoors - fishing, hunting, swimming and riding ATV’s / 4 wheelers. He enjoyed the calmness, relaxing, peaceful, and quiet time the outdoors provided.
Stephen loved making people laugh, smile and had a wonderful infectious sense of humor.
He loved his family and friends and always wore his heart on his shoulder.
