Soyla Reyes Gould.

Soyla was called upon by our Heavenly Father surrounded by family Tuesday December 13,2022, she was 63 years old.

Soyla was born in Corpus Christi Tx to Eligio Reyes and Anita Benavidez on June 17,1959 along with 9 siblings.

She had the blessing to create a beautiful blended family of 12 children 30 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

She will be remembered as a woman of great love for her lord and savior. She had a passion for caring and watching over everyone who came into her path. She was the strongest big hearted woman anyone could ever know. We were all lucky to have her. She loved immensely.

Soyla was a devoted and loving wife to Larry E. Gould to whom she was happily married to for 24 years. She was a dedicated mother and a loving grandmother whose presence could always be counted on. She could always make us all laugh with her amazing and spunky personality.

Soyla is preceded in death by her parents, 3 children,1 grandchild, 1 great grandchild and 6 siblings. She is survived by her husband Larry E. Gould her 9 children Adam Reyes, Jewel Gould, Angela Jimenez, Shanie Gould- Thibodeaux, Priscilla Reyes, Lamont Gould, Ruben Reyes, Lamar Gould, and Michael Anguiano. Her 3 siblings Minerva Reyes, Gilbert Reyes, Diana Reyes, and her 29 beloved grandchildren Catalina A. Mora, Sidney Jimenez, Elijah Jimenez, Noel Jimenez, Camila Jimenez, Nicolas Anguiano, La Daja Gould, Lamar Gould Jr, Joshua Gould, Lea Gould, Landon Gould, Lyric Gould, Trinity Thibodeaux, Leighton Gould, Lalia Gould, Le'ge Thibodeaux, Lyani Gould, Lilyanna Gould, Marissa Lopez, Maricela Lopez, Melinda Lopez, Marielena Lopez ,Bryana Savidge, Madyson Savidge, Destiny Reyes, Denise Reyes, Dianna Reyes, Krystal Anguiano, Michael Jr Anguiano and 22 great grandchildren

A visitation for Soyla will be held Saturday, December 31, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Pasadena Funeral Home, 2203 PASADENA BLVD, PASADENA, TX 77502. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 31, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 2203 PASADENA BLVD, PASADENA, TX 77502. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
