Samuel Albert Smith

On Saturday, May 20, 2023, Samuel “Sam” Albert Smith, 53, passed away after a valiant fight with prostate cancer. Sam was born on December 7, 1969, in Chicago Illinois to loving parents Judith and Robert Smith.

Sam is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Deborah Smith, his daughter, Madison Smith, and his son, Tyler Smith. He is also survived by his brother, Frank Smith, and his wife Mandee along with his parent in-laws, Michael and Marlene Bourke, sister-in-law, Kimberly Arnold, nephews and nieces and many loved family friends.

Sam, a devoted husband, and father had an unforgettable smile and infectious laugh. Sam never met a stranger, and his true passion was his children. He loved to watch Tyler play baseball and being the “Barn Dad” for Madison as he assisted with her animals for FFA. We will never forget his unwavering love of Texas A&M Aggies football and making special memories with family and friends throughout the years. We will honor and treasure those special times with Sam and we will never forget just how blessed we were to have him in our lives.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Sam on Thursday June 15, 2023, at 12:00 pm at the In His Presence Fellowship, 1202 E.P. Street, Deer Park, Texas 77536. Dress is casual.
