Rufina (Fina) Vega de Lopez passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at the age of 69. She was born in Santa Apolonia, Tamaulipas, Mexico on August 26, 1952. She was a beloved and amazing wife, mother, and grandmother. Fina married her childhood friend Emiliano Lopez on March 19, 1975. They set a beautiful example of a traditional marriage, inseparable for 47 years.
Rufina is survived by her husband Emiliano, and her 6 children: Rolando, Victor Manuel, Victor Hugo, Emilio Jr., Abiel, and Gladys Evelyn. “Nana” had 3 granddaughters: Alicia Nicole, Madyson Grace, and Baylee Isabella.
Fina preferred a private life, never wanting to be the center of attention, she remained focused on her #1 goal: Keeping the family united, by prioritizing the family, always first. Dedicating her entire life, and self-sacrificing everything, she remained devoted to her family, and husband, and never wavered. Fina maintained the family together, with her tremendous generosity, unconditional love, and of course- being unselfish. Family first. Nana would also enjoy a social gathering with extended family, with music and good food.
