Age 68 of Pasadena, Texas went to be with his Lord on June 15, 2023. He was born in Baytown, Texas on February 21, 1955 to his mother Charlotte Ann Brown Messina and father Anthony Philip Messina. His alma mater was Dobie High School. He married Sally Anne Marsh in July of 1972. He later joined the United States Air Force in 1976, specializing in HVAC systems. He received an honorable discharge in 1980 and he began his career as a civilian. He received numerous awards and accolades from employers such as Servall Mechanical, Houston Lighting and Power and Pasadena Independent School District.
Through the years Andy worked tirelessly to provide for his family. He also enjoyed, scuba diving, playing golf, poker nights with his buddies, playing his guitar and singing his favorite songs. He was a lifelong Astros fan but enjoyed coaching little league baseball for his sons and enjoyed hand picking blackberries in the springtime.
He is preceded in death by his father, Anthony Philip Messina. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sally Messina, along with their four adult children Jason, Bryan and Elizabeth Messina and Cara (Russell) Jenkins of Pasadena, Texas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; Joey, Jaime, Olivia, Sophia, Lillianne, Madison and new arrival Andie Rose. In addition, he is survived by his mother Charlotte Messina of Pasadena and his two brothers Tony (Cherryl) Messina and Cliff (Irina) Messina of Houston, Texas.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a visitation 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
