Richard Allen Bennett

Richard Allen Bennett, born on January 13th, 1941, in Houston Texas, passed away on Saturday, January 20th, 2024, in Port Arthur Texas. He was preceded in death by his father Norman C. Bennett and mother Virginia E. Macfadden Bennett, wife Donna Bennett, brothers Norman Bennett, Bill Bennett, Jimmy Bennett and daughters Terry Bennett and Channa Albrecht. Richard is survived by his wife Linda Bennett along with sons Weslie Pounds and wife Ruth Pounds, Kenneth Pounds, and adopted daughter Sharon Green. He was also survived by grandsons Blake Vann, Trey Conway and wife Bailey Conway, Austin Conway and wife Alee Conway, Jared Gerfers, Colton Gerfers along with granddaughters Brandie Marksberry, Amber Marshall, Magan Bordes and seven great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please donate to leukemia and lymphoma research or St Judes Childrens Hospital. Papa will be greatly missed

A visitation for Richard will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A Celebration of Life will occur Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. Military Honors will occur Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505.
