Ray Kenneth McIntosh, 90, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024. He was born November 15, 1933 in Huntington, Texas to the late Thomas Washington McIntosh and Ethel Purvis McIntosh. On February 6, 1965, he married his true love, Ota Renaye Jones McIntosh, who preceded him in death in 2009. He was also preceded in death by his parents, his sister Tommie Jean McIntosh, and his brother Wesley McIntosh. He is survived by his son, Thomas Wayne McIntosh and wife Cathy; his grandchildren, Christiana, Olivia, Clarissa, and Kenneth; his brother, Don McIntosh, as well as other family members.
Ray was a graduate of Deer Park High School, an Arco retiree with 30 years of service, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Pasadena for over 40 years. Prior to losing his eyesight in 2001, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and woodworking.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Tx. The visitation with the family will begin at 1pm followed by a 2pm service. The interment and a reception will follow at the same location.
