She was a resident of LaPorte Texas.
She was born December 1, 1931 in Munich, Germany to Franz and Maximiliane Gartner.
Priscilla received a strong education from the nuns in catholic school and was very talented in drawing, painting and calligraphy. She also enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, and taking photographs wherever she went. As a young adult she traveled Europe with her favorite companion, her mother.
Graduating high school a year earlier than her classmates she began working as a telephone operator, which in the late 1940’s was before automated call switching and was quite technically intense in post war Germany. It was there Priscilla and Ishmel fell in love meeting after a year of his persistent phone calls. Ishmel who was in the United States Air Force was stationed in Germany at the time, they were married for 56 years until his passing.
Especially fond of animals her regular visits to a petting zoo near her home fostered her love for birds, dogs and rabbits. Raised in the Roman Catholic faith, Priscilla made sure to raise her son likewise.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ishmel, and brother Franz. She is survived by her immediate family Michael and Brenda Fox, along with a number of nephews and nieces of whom many affectionately called her, “Aunt Pat”
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
