Patsy Gale Sharver

Her heart to care for others and her love for Jesus didn’t end with her death. Patsy left this

world on April 17, 2022, at the age of 78.

In 1960, Patsy married Alonzo “Lon” Sharver and had two sons Clayton Sharver and Craig

Sharver. She spent most of her days making sure her boys knew they were supported in

everything they sought to achieve. She worked as a dedicated United States Postal Service

employee for over 25 years and served her community well.

The simple pleasures in life brought great joy to Patsy. She was a gentle soul that sought to see

the good in everyone she encountered. She loved a quiet place to read a book along with long

walks soaking in all of God’s creations. Her greatest gift, though, was in her discipleship and the

many people that came closer to Jesus through knowing Patsy. Her family will miss her

presence in their lives but rejoices knowing she is in peace and resting as the good and faithful

servant that she was.

Patsy is preceded in death by her father Thomas Jefferson Goodson and mother Georgia Sindle

Goodson. Patsy is survived by her children, Clayton Sharver and wife Renee’, Craig Sharver and

wife Sue; grandchildren, Ashley Beck and husband Chad, Zachary Sharver and fiance’ Chelsea,

and Brooke Sharver; great-grandchildren Brylee, Brenym, Kendra, Kendall, Kolton, and Kensley;

brothers Keith Purifoy and Lloyd Purifoy; and sisters Wanda Carter and Marie Brannon. She is

also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and former spouse Lon Sharver.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 22rd, 2022 at Pasadena Funeral Home located at

2203 Pasadena Blvd, Pasadena, TX 77502 at 2 PM followed by a reception at Zach Sharvers

home.
