Patricia Kay Porter

On April 21, 1964, a beautiful baby girl was born in Clay, Texas to Daisy and Jourdan Flowers Sr. They named their blessing from God - Patricia Kay Flowers. As a young child she was called "KayKay" and began a religious journey at an early age and continued this throughout her life. After attending High School she pursued a career in healthcare, had three sons and married Freddie Lee Porter.

KayKay enjoyed going on cruises, watching Netflix, cooking, having gatherings with family and friends. Her most favorite times were spent with her children and grandchildren. KayKay was the glue that kept the family together. She was a beloved figure known for her role as the matriarch of her family. KayKay was deeply dedicated to her family, always ensuring to plan activities that brought everyone together. Her generosity knew no bounds; she would give her last to help someone in need. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and kindness, where everyone felt welcome and loved.

Known for her honesty, she was always the first to tell you when you were wrong or right, never hesitating to speak her mind.

She was a devoted member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Baytown, Texas, where she worshipped under the leadership of Reverend Raphael D. Montgomery. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her.

KayKay departed from this earthly life on November 4, 2024, at the age of 60 years young. She was surrounded by family and close friends at the time of transition. She leaves a legacy of helping others, her laughter, living life to the fullest, eating lots of tasty food, spending fun times with family and just being there to listen or give advice.

KayKay was preceded in death by her Parents: Daisy and Jourdan Flowers Sr. Sisters: Vera Brown and Gwendolyn Price (Vernell).

KayKay is survived by and leaves great memories which will be cherished for their lifetimes to: Her Husband: Freddie Lee Porter. Her Sons: Jordan P. Flowers III (Heather); Jermond C. Flowers; Charles White (Jasmine). Stepchild/Bonus Daughter: Aaliyah Rapheal, step daughter /bonus daughter- Lakesha Jackson Brothers: Jourdan Flowers Jr. (Charmolet), Derodrick Flowers; Derrick Flowers. Sister: Jacqueline Flowers. Brother-In-Law: Edmond Porter (Rachelle). Sister-In-Law: Arnetta Bronnon (TJ). Grandchildren: Jordan K. Flowers; Precious Flowers; Jordan Favorite; Ariana Flowers; Camilla White; Elijah Flowers; Aaliyah Flowers; Makayla Flowers; Jaslene Flowers; Ariyah Wingwood; Amirah Wingwood, Kenreisha , Keron and Keichaun . Great-Grandchildren: Jordan Deshaun Livingston Jr., A’dyn Karter Flowers-Polk. A host of nieces; nephews; cousins; and a countless host of wonderful and loving relatives and close friends.

Patricia “KayKay” Flowers Porter will truly be missed. She was a strong woman that possessed a keen personality and a big heart. Most importantly, KayKay always kept God first.

Her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will forever be cherished.
