Celebrating the Life of Marty Judd Lane, born March 31, 1968 in Canyon, Texas to Marvin J. “Butch” and Luene Leverett Lane. Marty attended schools in Duke, Oklahoma, Reydon, Oklahoma, Hobart, Oklahoma, and Crosby, Texas. He earned his Associates Degree from ITT in drafting and design.
Marty was involved in his church choir worship team. He was active in FFA –showing cattle and pigs, 4-H Club, and he was the school mascot for basketball, but also played football, and enjoyed fishing. Marty was a Dallas Cowboys fan and loved watching their games. He enjoyed old traditional country music and Christian music.
Marty is preceded in death by his father Marvin J. “Butch” Lane; grandparents J.D. and Jean Lane, W.C. “Bill” and Gertrude Leverett; uncles Donnie Lane and Bud Leverett; aunts Joyce Bowie and Margaret Lomenick.
Left to treasure his memory are his wife Lisa VanEtten-Lane; son Mason Lane; daughter Madison Lane; mother Luene Leverett Lane; brothers Matt Lane and Marcus Lane; sister Lori Belott; mother in law Liz VanEtten; brother in law Rick VanEtten; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts and uncles.
Services for Marty Judd Lane will be on Monday, August 10, 2020, at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, 2203 Pasadena Boulevard, Pasadena, Texas 77502. The family will receive guests from 10:00am to 11:00am. A Celebration of Life service will follow immediately at 11:00am. Marty will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505 following the services.
