Marie "Pee Wee" Martin

Marie grew up living in Houston with her parents, brothers and sister. Marie loved to go fishing and crabbing while growing up, she would reminisce about going fishing and crabbing with her family, nieces and nephews.

In later years, she moved in with Karen and her family. While living with Karen, she helped raise and love Karen’s children (Mack, Michael, Sarah and Bobby.) These kids were her life; she would do anything to make them happy. Karen’s family was also much loved and a part of Marie’s life.

She loved to drink her coffee, watch her old TV shows, watch her favorite movie stars, seafood and most of all…the casino. She was a woman of courage and strength. She lived her life to the fullest, expressed joy and had a great sense of humor. She had a pure, gentle and loving soul that will be missed dearly by everyone she knew.

She is survived by her loving family, Karen and Mack Gasque, Michael, Sarah and Bobby Martin and their children, (Makayla, Kaylee, Noah Maddox London and Mathew); brothers, Chuck, Bobby and Butch; sister, Edith; nieces and nephews, Wayne, Vinny, Cenia and Deno; and many friends.

She is and has always been our love and protector and with the help of her guidance and her wisdom beyond belief, she will always be here with us forever. She is the greatest love of our lives. Pee Wee, our Angel, will always be with us.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 22, 2015 at 4:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505.
