Maria Isabel Molina, 90 years of age, a resident of Pasadena, is no longer with us. She had two children (Alvaro and Beatriz). She is survived by her daughter Beatriz, 6 grandchildren (Claudia, Jorge, Diego, Cristina, Anabelle, and Juan Diego) and 6 great-grandchildren (Simon, Eduardo, Miguel, Agustin, Sebastian, Adrian). She was a devout Roman Catholic and was born in La Estrella, Antioquia (a town near Medellin, Colombia). She lived in Medellin most of her life with two of her sisters (Tulia and Carmen) and her father Jose Maria Molina. They ran a shoe factory for many years and also had a beauty salon before she emigrated to the USA in 1983.
She was a hard worker and enjoyed cooking. She is best described as direct, candid, humorous, loyal, strong and independent. She is greatly missed and was the greatest grandmother anyone could wish to have. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly.
A Memorial Mass will be held in her honor on Saturday, September 14, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Pius V (Chapel), 824 South Main St., Pasadena, TX 77506 (713) 473-9484.
