Margaret Mae McAteer

Born on December 15, 1942 to Albert and Reba Hargraves Moore in a small hospital in Pasadena, TX. She passed away on October 18, 2019 in Baytown, TX.

Margaret was married at the tender age of 17 to Bobby McAteer. They were married 59 years at the time of her passing. During those 59 years, they were blessed with 3 children, Rhonda, James and Tracey. They were also blessed with 6 beautiful granddaughters, Tiffany Gowen Maddox, Amber Teel, Nakita McAteer, better known as Niki, Meledy Thatcher, Samantha Teel and Sarina McAteer, and one handsome grandson, Eric Bolin; 4 beatiful great granddaughters, Breeana Lammert, Kinsie Parker, Everly McAteer and Marley and 4 handsome great grandsons, Matthew Tinsley and Tatum, and Matthew and Tyler Maddox. She adored her family and spent every minute she could with them. She also enjoyed quilting and sewing clothes for the grandkids. She also enjoyed staying in touch with family via social media.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Reba Moore, her brothers, William and Tom Moore and daughter, Rhonda Gowen. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Bobby, Son-In-Law Eddie Gowen, Son James and wife Robbie, Daughter Tracey and husband Art Thatcher along with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many family members and friends.

Her wings were ready but our hearts were not.
