Louis Hermann Fick, born in Houston, Texas on December 27, 1925, passed from this life on January 15, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Theodore and Pauline Fick; brother, Theodore Fick; daughters, Paulette Hobbs and Annette Lee Fick; grandson, James Howard. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Shirley Fick; daughters, Melanie Hibler and husband Steve, Helen Fick, Deanna Porterfield and husband Jim; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, January 17, 2014 from 6PM to 8PM at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 3PM at Grand View Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a reception following the service. Graveside Services will be private on Monday, January 20, 2014 in Austin, Texas. Memorial contributions are welcome and may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association.
