Linda Elizabeth Young

On October 10, 1937, Linda Elizabeth Palmer was born in Pasadena Texas to mother Annie Mae Palmer and father Morris Vandon Palmer, and passed from this earth to her heavenly home to be with her loving husband on June 14, 2023.

She will be missed by all that knew her as she loved everyone and saw the very best in everyone, and would literally give you the shirt off her back if she thought you would need it. She also thought of everyone else and how she could help them before she thought of herself.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Carl Leon Young; her parents and her brother Don Palmer.

She is survived by her sister Sue Fowler; daughters, Susan Dalton, Karen Craig (Charlie), and son Bob Young; grandchildren Jamie Sims (Kevin), Chad Keeling, Justin Shafer (Candice), Haley Dalton (Brandon). Great-Grandchildren Avery Sims, Ethan Keeling and Jordan Shafer. Special close and loving family Tommy and Angela Edge and the many, many other family and friends; but especially her wonderful neighbors that were like family and watched after both Linda and Carl like they were their own family

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 4:00PM to 5:00PM with a Celebration of Linda's life beginning at 5:00PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. She will be laid to rest Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 10:00 AM at Grand View Memorial Park.
